YouTube Earnings Estimator

What a video or a month of views is plausibly worth — as a range, which is the only honest form for this. Two channels with the same view count routinely earn ten times apart.

Ad revenue for 100,000 views

$180 – $675

An RPM of $1.8–$6.75 per 1,000 views, after YouTube’s 45% share.

What one sponsor would pay for the same views

$1,000 – $3,000

Shown because for most channels under a million views a month, ad revenue is the smallest income line. An estimator that stops at AdSense gives you the wrong picture of your own business.

What this cannot know

  • How many of your views carried an ad. Typically half to two thirds, and it varies by video, by length, and by how advertiser-friendly the content is judged to be.
  • Your actual advertiser demand. Rates swing hard by season — January is the worst month of the year, December the best — and by how many advertisers want your specific viewer.
  • Whether you are monetized at all. Ad revenue needs 1,000 subscribers plus 4,000 watch hours, or 10M Shorts views.
  • The rates here are published industry ranges, not measurements of your channel. Treat the answer as an order of magnitude, and trust your own Studio numbers over any calculator including this one.
